Doula training, commonly referred to as doula preparation, is a fabulous starting point for anyone looking to become a doula themselves. This Developing Doulas course is approved by Doula UK which means that once you’ve completed the course you can join the organisation and start to receive the benefits of being a member, including a comprehensive mentoring scheme to support you through your doula journey.

I am so incredibly passionate about supporting women through their pregnancy and birth and early parenting, that I want to enable more women to become doulas, so that they can go on and support even more women – paying it forward and sharing the passion!  The course I run is with the fabulous Developing Doulas and you can pop over there to find out even more about the course, the content, how to book etc.  Courses run in Cambridge and Surrey facilitated by Maddie and Zara respectively so if the dates for here on the Fylde Coast don’t suit you, you might fancy checking out their availability too.

The course is based on the Fylde Coast, and is 5 days in total.  It is run over 2 weekends (sat/sun followed by the next fri/sat/sun) in the Blackpool/St. Annes area.  The course cost is £600 and a deposit of £100 is needed in order to book your place. Please follow the link here to find out more and to book.

Zoe is happy to consider travelling to facilitate this course, so if you would like to host and have room for a group, then please get in touch.
